I Love Christmas Cards!

Ho! Ho! Ho!  It's that time of year already! Can you believe it?  Time to get those Christmas Cards started!  The best Christmas card is a handmade one, don't you agree?  All of my cards are fast, simple and easy to mass produce.

Recently I held a Christmas Card workshop and the participants made four each of five designs...twenty cards total in just three hours!  I thought I would share the card designs over the next few days and maybe you will get inspired to make your own cards this year!  This one was super easy!

Here's what you need to make this super cute Santa card for your friends and family!
Paper:  Believe Level 2 (X7145B), includes Sweet Leaf cardstock and White Daisy cardstock
Embellishments: red sparkles (Z1326), assorted ribbon
Stamp Set: Christmas Cheer (D1494)
Ink Colors: Holiday Red (Z2127), Black Z2105), Bamboo (Z2103)
Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge (Z1686)
Blending Pen (3174)

Measurements:
Believe red plaid B&T: 4” x 5 ¼”
White Daisy cardstock: 3 ½” x 3”
Card Base: 4 ¼” x 5 ½” White Daisy (cut at 8.5 x 5.5, and fold in half to create card)

Additional Instructions:

Use the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge to cut the following:
o Square 2, 3”: Sweet Leaf and Believe diagonal stripe B&T
o Square 3, 2 ¾”: Believe blue & white dot B&T
o Tag 3, 2 ¾”: White Daisy cardstock

Stamp Santa in Black on the 3” x 3 ½” White Daisy piece. Use micro tip scissors to trim.

Use the Blending Pen and the puddle pad technique to add color to Santa. (See p. 51 in the current idea book or click here to see this easy technique!)

Stamp scalloped frame in Holiday Red on the White Daisy tag.

Stamp “MERRY CHRISTMAS” message in Black on the White Daisy tag.

Attach three red sparkles to the tag.

Tie a ribbon to the tag. You can use Holiday Red, White Daisy or Sweet Leaf ribbon.

Use foam layering tape or pop dots to “pop up” the blue and white dot square.

Assemble as pictured.

Just as promised, this card is super easy and super quick!  If you want to order these supplies or more, please contact me or visit my website to shop 24/7!  I've included the item numbers above to make it easy for you to grab these supplies and get started.
