My Scrappy Friends!

Last night Joy Nagel, Kim Primm and I went to Elizabeth Chu's crop at Grace Community Church. What a great way to spend a Friday night! Joy and Kim both made the cutest pages...I am so bummed that I didn't get pictures of Kim's (I'll take pictures later and post them here) but here is what Joy made...she used Topstitch Level 2 paper packet and the Topstitch Level 2 My Stickease. How creative! Joy is always thinking outside the box!

I worked on cards from the You Rock set, I love how they turned out! These two are my favorites. If you notice the slight shine on the Live in the Moment card, it is one of the Top Coats, our transparency overlays. So cool!

I'm a Sucker for Paper Crafting!

Isn't this a cute little project? I made a bunch of these for my daughter's class for their Valentine's Party. So easy and so fun! A lollipop holder!

Supplies: Tulip Cardstock, White Cardstock, A Love Stamp Set (A1103-$7.95), Tulip Stamp Pad (Z2166-$5.25), Chocolate Stamp Pad (Z2111-$5.25), Blush Stamp Pad (Z2106-$5.25), pink bling and a random ribbon scrap. I used flat heart shape lollipops from my local store.

Here are the directions:

1. First, cut your cardstock base (I used Tulip cardstock) at 2 1/2" x 5 1/4". Score the base at 2 1/4" and 2 3/4". This makes a little 1/4" gap at the top.

2. Next, cut a piece of white cardstock into a 2 1/4" x 2 1/4" square. Decorate as desired. I used the cutest little stamp set (A Love...only $7.95!) Adhere the square to the front of the lollipop holder.

3. Finally, punch two holes at bottom. Place the lollipop into the holder, and tie with ribbon! So easy and so fun!

Thanks to the fabulous Tina Sutton for sharing this idea!

A Sweetheart of a Gift!

How cute is this little gift box? I made these for my February Workshop ladies and they loved them! (Thanks to Tina Sutton for the cute idea!) Here are the directions, in case you want to make some of your own! So easy and so fun!

Here are the directions:

1. First, cover your box with a base piece of background and texture paper. I cut mine 4″ x 7″ for the sweetheart box and 3 1/2" x 7 3/4 for a 2oz box of Russell Stover chocolates.

2. Next, cut a coordinating piece of background and texture paper to 1″ x 7″. I used scalloped scissors to create a ruffled edge.

3. Then, cut a slit in front of the box. Wrap the ribbon around the box (between the box and b&t paper on the back and through the slit center in the front). This keeps the box from coming out when you pull it up.

4. Then, cut coordinating cardstock to decorate the front of the box. Stamp an image on the cardstock. Glue on the front of the box, being careful not to get adhesive on the ribbon. (Just add it to 3 sides of the cardstock, sides and bottom, leaving no adhesive in the middle or the top).

5. Last, carefully put the ribbon around the box and tie the box in between.

6. Give to a friend as a special gift. This little project is great for teacher gifts, too! And, best of all you can use this idea all year long!
7. Supplies: Topstitch Level 2 paper packet (X7120B-$12.95), A Love stamp set (A1103-$7.95), Chocolate grosgrain ribbon (Z1127-$7.95), Baby Pink stamp pad (Z2102-$5.25), Blush stamp pad (Z2106-$5.25) and Bitty Sparkles (Z1263-$2.95)
